Member of Welkom SAPS Flying managed to arrest one suspect and seize his vehicle following the bombing of two ATM’s.
A manhunt has been launched for other suspects.
On 13 January 2022 at about 01:05, two ATM’s were bombed at Allanridge Mini Market and all relevant units were activated around Lejweleputswa District.
Members of Welkom Flying Squad were following every lead until a 44-year-old suspect from Kempton Park, Gauteng was arrested. He will appear in Odendaalsrus Magistrate Court soon.
