FARM MURDER – Fourth farm attack in Cullinan area in a month leads to murder

Once again, one of our elderly farmers was murdered and his wife was seriously injured. The attack happened July 20, 2024. The attack was on Louwsbaken outside Cullinan
An elderly man was killed and his wife seriously injured. She is currently in the hospital.
SAPS, K9 and all services are still busy on the scene.
No further details can be shared. We are waiting for more details surrounding the attack and will post updates as soon as it is released.

UPDATE:
The South African Police Service in Cullinan responded after being informed of a farm attack in their Policing Area on Saturday 2024-07-20.
Upon arrival, they found an 81-year-old elderly man, KILLED and his wife seriously injured and she received medical attention.
The deceased was found in the house with severe head injuries and in a pool of blood.
A witness said he drove quickly to the deceased’s residence after receiving a call from the deceased’s daughter informing him that her parents were not answering their phones, she suspected something might have happened because it is unusual for them not to answer the phones.
Upon arrival, he found the badly injured woman and the deceased in the house. It is unknown what the motive for the attack is and whether any property was stolen.
A case of murder and house robbery has been opened for investigation and all leads are being investigated.
The South African Police Service calls on the community to come forward with any information and contact Cullinan SAPS to bring the perpetrators to court.
