[This whole story is crazy. Something is wrong in this marriage between this White Afrikaans man and his wife. I do wonder if perhaps they had a liberal approach and could not control their own children. It is one thing to spank a child and to control a child, and a whole other thing to HATE YOUR CHILD and want to KILL YOUR CHILD. I am wondering whether this husband and wife were unable to control their own children. And this woman began to get crazy and unstable and began to hate her children. I am seriously wondering if a little bit of old style discipline with Mom and Dad in control of the children would not have solved the problem. I don't think it's deeper than that. It is a CRAZY negative outcome when a White woman ends up murdering her own lovely children. It sounds like a discipline problem to me. I think this is totally nuts, and would never have happened in a White family 50 or a 100 years ago. Jan]
