The Corporations could pull the plug on every facet of the government any time they wanted to. The Corporations own and control all the lawyers in the country. The corporations have insane power. They pay for the best security services in the country. Without them all lawyers would have no business. Without them much (but not all) of the security companies would collapse. Corporations could fight the Government and DEFEAT IT militarily or any way.
