S.Africa: Crime: EXCELLENT: Porsche driver shoots hijacker dead, Monument Park

[Very nice. Jan]A suspect was shot in attempted hijacking on the R101 road next to Monument Park on the 14 January 2021 in the evening.
It is alleged that five suspects driving a red Toyota double cab block a grey Porsche Cayenne. Suspects approached the driver of Porsche, he immediately took out his firearm and shot at one of the suspects.
The other suspects drove off with their Toyota double cab. The suspect’s firearm and ammunition was discovered on the scene. Firearm to be taken for ballistic test to ascertain whether it was previously used in serious crimes.
The suspect was declared dead on the scene.

This building still exists in Johannesburg. It was already built and looking great in the mid-1980s when I came to work in Johannesburg. Someone back then told me that the floors of this building are hanging. I did not quite know what to think of it, but its design is strange and when you look at the bottom, youll see the whole building is held up by a central column. (Just like those buildings of 911).
