Brits Post – Mooinooi – around 2:30 am, Wednesday, March 27, a couple renting a house on a farm, just from the R104, direction of Brits and about 4km from Mooinooi, woke up from their dogs that incessantly barked outside.
When they could not stop the dogs, they were outside where two men were waiting for them and assaulted them with blunt objects and seriously injured them.
According to Magalies East Radio group, who was contacted by the owner and rushed to the scene immediately, they came across the seriously injured man and woman.

The suspects fled with a TV and laptop.
It is not yet clear whether anything else has been robbed and according to the tracks on the scene, the suspects are about 200m from where they gained access by cutting it through the fence by cutting it up by a vehicle.
The pair was transported to a hospital for medical treatment by ER24.
(At press time, the information could not be confirmed with the police, nor whether a case was opened.)

At present time the man is fighting for his life in hospital, if the woman had not lied over him he would be dead!!!
