I was not pleased with the notices I was getting from my hosting company but upon closer inspection, the problem is different. I had a server I had set up where I was experimenting with something, and I had left some software there.
Then someone came along and hacked into it and began sending out spam.
I looked at the mails and I saw it was a genuine problem, so I told them to shut it down immediately!
