Americans and South Africans joke with me about entering America illegally via Mexico

[I've had quite a number of Americans telling me to enter America via the southern border ILLEGALLY, and today a good South African friend says the same thing to me. I do understand people saying this to me as a JOKE, but in reality, it is really asking for big trouble. Below is how I replied to this. This might work for Jews and Blacks, but I assure you this opens the doors to real shit. If I were to do this, I'd be asking for big big trouble. I would *NEVER* even contemplate this. This was my reply:
Many Americans say things like this, but I’d never venture this. This is asking for real trouble. Jews might bring lots of non-Whites through the south, but I’m sure a White would not be allowed in, worse still, the long term consequences of committing an actual crime on American soil. I’m sorry, many have said this to me, but it’s really a stupid and short sighted suggestion.
