S.Africa: WEIRD entry into a family member’s property last night…

A family member of mine who lives in the Eastern suburbs, quite a distance from Johannesburg; experienced a really weird thing.

He sent me these messages:

I’m thinking someone was in my yard last night, my front gate was open, my one dustbin on the floor and the other…. The lid is missing

I don’t know what to tell u. It might be people with jammers that opened it.

My family member has a remote controlled gate, and it seems, from my discussions with him that maybe blacks have got jammers that they use to open electric gates. I know they have jammers to stop people’s cars locking. But this is the first time I’ve heard of a gate being opened.

I don’t always believe in higher tech for everything. Sometimes, low tech works better – a chain and a lock might be better.

This is to give you an idea of how things go in SA. You have to be on your guard all the time.
