S.Africa: Farm attack, AK47 wielding attackers raid smallholding, Rustenburg

farm attack took place in the early hours of 5 June 2021, on a smallholding in the Boschfontein area, South of Rustenburg, in the North West province of South Africa. A gang of AK47 wielding attackers invaded a smallholding and held up the security guards.
The guards were assaulted and robbed of their equipment and a gas pistol.
The attackers then removed all the solar panels from the property and fled.
There were no serious injuries reported.
Police are investigating, but there have been no arrests.
There is no other information available at this stage.
