2002: 60 of Blacks said life under Apartheid was better
This is a story from Britain on my African Crisis Archive. Of course life was better under Apartheid, but nobody wants to admit that White rule was better. In 2023, Blacks are still realising this truth, but few dare say it.
[BRICS is not really something that Whites in SA care about or which even really affects us. But it looks as if BRICS is quietly becoming an anti-Western Alliance run by the Russians. Putin addressed it from Russia via the Internet. The local White Liberals who live in a dream world are very concerned by this. 6 new countries have joined BRICS and many more have applied. I think the US Military and the CIA will hate this. In certain respects this is good for the USA to remember that the WHITES used to fight and resist the Russians and Chinese here in Africa. America is crazy to have its own bunch of non-White alliances. I look forward to seeing the nonsense that comes out of this. But the US Military establishment won't like this. That pleases me. Anything that throws a spanner in the works of these anti-White Blacks who rule us, pleases me. And watching them and the USA increasing their stresses is GOOD. Jan]

BRICS has taken a “dangerous political direction” with the admittance of new members like Iran and Saudi Arabia. That is the view of the Democratic Alliance’s (DA’s) Shadow Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Emma Louise Powell. She speaks to BizNews following the announcement by President Cyril Ramaphosa today (Thursday 24 August) that BRICS has decided to invite the Argentine Republic, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to become full members. Powell says, until this week, the BRICS grouping has been “rather innocuous”, but given the inclusion of countries like Iran and Saudi, she thinks that BRICS is headed in “a rather dangerous political direction that does not serve South Africa’s economic security or democratic interests”. That means that DA “would certainly make representations towards reviewing our membership when the time came”. – Chris Steyn
