S.Africa: Covid weirdness – Dead quiet in my suburb

I assume that this is because of all the latest COVID nonsense. In my suburb, where about 50% of the population are White, the Whites are normally up at day break on their bikes or running or walking. But in recent days when I began exercising in the mornings again, I was utterly shocked and amazed to see NOBODY up and about. I once saw two blacks running early in the morning, but otherwise it is DEAD QUIET. Many of my neighbours get up early and they’re out and about early … and I don’t see them moving!!

You would think the place is totally DEAD.

I’m sure it’s just the latest COVID crap. People probably think they’re going to die, etc, etc.
