Massive Govt spying in South Africa or more Psychological Warfare to SCARE WHITES?

[This is an example of the kind of stuff that is doing the rounds on phones among whites in South Africa. I see no source for this stuff. I suspect this might be a psychological warfare campaign intended to scare whites into communicating less on their phones.
We have been spied on, on the Internet for over 20 years. Everything electronic can and is spied on: e.g. whatsapp, telegram, etc.
I doubt that there is anything NEW that they're spying on that they haven't spied on before.
I suspect they are just trying to scare whites into communicating LESS on their phones, because the whites are talking to each other, and the whites are expressing their dissatisfaction.
Whites in SA have LOTS of groups where they share info and discuss crime and respond to crime.
I think these are scare tactics. ALL these areas have been monitored for years. I doubt there is anything new. Jan] [11/15, 19:49] From tomorrow onwards there are new communication regulations.
